Flashings & Accessories

Flashings:

Flashings are essential components that provide protection against water ingress, especially around joints, edges, and penetrations in the roofing system. They are designed to ensure the roof remains waterproof and to prevent water from leaking into the building. Flashings are available in different materials to match the roofing system and provide long-term durability. The choice of flashing material depends on factors such as environmental exposure, aesthetic preferences, and cost considerations.

Flashings are typically custom fabricated to fit the roof design and ensure proper sealing at critical junctions. They are also essential in providing a clean and finished appearance to the roof system while ensuring structural integrity and weatherproofing. Proper installation of flashings is key to maintaining the longevity and functionality of the roofing system.

Roof clamps have become an extremely important component in the metal building industry. They are utilized for various applications: mounting solar modules or ACP systems, running piping and conduit, securing HVAC units, roof walkway and fall arrest systems, snow retention systems, and other accessories that need to attach to a standing seam roof without penetrating the roof panels. It’s available in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit various applications. Clamps are also available in a few different materials (aluminum, brass, stainless steel), and use various hardware (set screws or bolts) for securing the clamps to standing seam ribs. However, the most popular clamps are manufactured from aluminum and use bullet-nose set screws.
